Hello world!

Well now, I was just remembering back to the days I had my first go at publishing something on the web. It must have been my Quake Team Fortress clan website back in 1997 or so when I was 13 years old. Something small with a clan roster and contact information on some free hosting service back then, Tripod or something.

I’ve had a few personal websites in the past years but I never really knew what to post on a personal page and they died out. I have helped some friends and colleagues start up sites for their hobbies and businesses but none of them are active anymore and now that my Entropia Universe gaming society’s website withered away last year due to society becoming rather deserted I felt like it’s time again for another go at a personal site, maybe a blog, portfolio, LinkedIn and Facebook integration, you know, like it is supposed to be nowadays. 🙂

Why WordPress you might ask? I considered some others and I have had plenty of experience out of e107 content management system, however when I was researching the most popular content management systems nowadays WordPress with a 28% share of all sites on the web is just mindblowing, an obvious choice to get started with.
